Artist Statement

2023 has seen me busy, out and about in the community, water colour painting in the library and community allotment, making hats and flowers for the Coronation celebrations and running an Art Club for Primary school aged children.

As far as my own art work goes, my particular interest is to create the sort of accessible and original art that I would buy myself – whether for a gift or to keep – an acrylic painting on canvas to display on your wall, a cushion to give a splash of colour, an apron to prepare a delicious meal in, or a mug to contain a soothing drink at the end of the day.
