May 2022
My last collection was called Hints of Spring. It recognised that we need the death and decay of winter vegetation to add nutrients to the soil and nourish the tiny shoots of spring. As well as green there was a lot of shades of brown in my pieces. We are into May now and the countryside is definitely looking far greener. The wild daffodils have come and gone but masses of primroses remain in the hedges and the bluebells are really flourishing. The new season’s leaves are appearing on the trees and the hawthorn is flowering in the hedges. I have realised that my work is really influenced by the changes apparent in each season and love the variety that those changes bring.
I am working on new designs based on the colour palette of late spring but in the meantime, you can find my existing stock at local markets or online. Why not treat yourself to a piece of art for your home – they are created with you in mind - as affordable and accessible - to bring you joy.
